All research and planning for your Ancillary Tasks must be completed by Friday (27th March). An effective research & planning approach is to publish a flat plan of your proposed product before you start on the content. A flat plan is a plan made up of labelled boxes identifying content type only. Here is an example. Google it for see other, often better, examples. It would be very easy to construct a flat plan for both of your products in Quark using the text box tool. You would then develop the content and construction skills, leading to a draft product.
Once your product is complete, an effective way of demonstrating your success is to deconstruct your own product, just as you would for real products in your Ancillary Task research & planning stage. This will clearly demonstrate how you have observed technical codes & conventions and addressed issues of representation. A simple annotated screenshot is one of the most effective ways of doing this, but many other methods exist (including the use of my film poster analysis worksheet posted in lesson 20).
Post your completed products as JPEGs as the final item on each of your Ancillary Task pages.
